Ok, so why is that when I finally have 5 mins (well a little more than that), the weather goes down the tubes. What started as a partly cloudy, a perfect picture day ended up with dark clouds and light rain…ugh!!!! By the time we got to the park, it was pretty dark and a few drops were falling but I was able to get some shots in… the lighting wasn’t the best and I am just not sure I am loving it. I think I’ve become too picky… or maybe I don’t know what I am after meaning, location, poses, etc.. I guess I am hoping by some miracle that some great pic is just going to happen by itself…lol
Our weekends are pretty busy through this month with some fun things planned so I don’t know if another shoot can happen… unless I try to sneak one in after school one day…well anyway, here it is.. basically sooc… I cropped to 24×36 ratio, because that is the size canvas I want to get… I left room for the side wrapping that’s why it’s not too tight. I will show the edited version once I do it, but so far… yay or nay.
Yay and nay…. that really helps, huh? LOL
The location is great, love that they’re all holding hands and smiling, but I think the boys need different color shirts. Sydney (in her brightly colored clothes) is hogging all the attention
Ooh, and I think you should try to go back after all the leaves turn, I bet that would be gorgeous!
M… last year when I went, the leaves went from yellow to gone…no pretty foliage. If you look closely you can see some trees are bare already. Hmm.. interesting observation about the boys shirts… I did have other outfits in mind but they were short sleeved and it was too chilly. They would’ve just complained… hmm.. I could hope for warmer weather or change their shirts… now, to see if I can squeeze in another shoot..I may have to go after school one day…what’s a good bribe, I mean reward?!
I was thinking the same thing. The boys kind of blend into the bridge. Syd stands out like a super star, though LOL. Finding the right clothes for a few kids is hard. I like them to coordinate, but not be the same.
As far as bribe/reward, maybe their favorite place for dinner? Or even a dessert for dinner night?
dessert for dinner…Amy…. that may actually work! Ok..I will re-think the outfits and try to squeeze in a shoot.. maybe brown-ish shirts for the boys with jeans and some jean/pink outfit for Syd… why does this always have to be so hard…lmao
Well, I think you’ve already made up your mind for a reshoot. Good input from the girls…………..I was going to say you have to LOVE it, esp. when it’s big. You don’t want to walk by it and every time think, I wish the sky was blue, I wish..fill in the blank. I know one of my canvas’ of them jumping in the lake and there’s motion blur that I didn’t see prior to printing and now that’s all I see!
